I think they will win, but even if they don't, the word is getting out to the public AND the dubs by non-apostate means. I, for one, am loving that!

TV commercial seen in the United States, from a Law firm "Asking if you were ever sexually abused by JEHOVAHS WITNESSES, please call".
by Dunedain inok, so i don't know if this is "old news", and if this has been seen, and or mentioned already.
if it was, i do apologize, but i feel i have to mention what has been seen on tv, within the past 24 hours.. first off, i would like to say that i did not personally see this commercial.
however, it was seen by someone that i can verify 100% is telling the truth, as it was my own father who saw it.

Wow, this looks better than most of their ads. So, I spoke with my ex-dub relative in NJ today. She bought a newspaper with the ad in it. When she spoke to her still-in sister, the sister said it did not surprise her...."it's the time of the end." Give me a break. I find this attitude unacceptable on so many levels...ugh. I'm not feeling surprised, just frustrated.

Please not that the ad is also for those who "have information about sexual abuse or sexual misconduct within the Jehovah's Witnesses". Perhaps some of us can help with that.

I have relatives in Jersey. Today it is in the Asbury Park Press.
I don't care who the lawyers are either. The word is getting out to the public that the JWs are more than just harmless religious fanatics. This is what needed to happen. The JWs can't stop it. Today is a good day.

Hehehe, time for the GB to stock the bunkers...the GT is about to begin!
I guess they'll have to tell the r&f to stop watching television or reading newspapers...

Weitz/Luxenberg is one of the big law firms that run nationwide TV ads looking for class action suit participants....and this time they've teamed up with other firms. This is huge. Yoooge. Already the TV ad is running throughout the tri-state (NY, NJ, CT) areas, that we know of. If any of you see it elsewhere, please share. -

Wow, just WOW. It is now out there for all to see. Sounds like they're looking to file a class action suit. Less compensation for the victims this way, but publicly singling out the org for sex abuse? Priceless.

Is this a normal JW practice? Warning, this will be a bit graphic.
by Sequoia inthis post may be disturbing and i apologize, but i'm just trying to find out if this is a practice the jw teaches.
i was taken advantage of by a guy claiming to be a jw preacher.
he took me to his house supposedly so i could give his daughter piano lessons, and then he basically forced himself on me while telling me he was in love with me and wanted to marry me.

Sequoia, I want to apologize for the ignorance you have encountered here. I am very sorry that you were assaulted by this monster and I hope, for your sake and others, that he does end up in jail. Please do see a therapist as well.
